Speech

Having to take speech in school is not fun and the fact that I have to do one tomorrow isn't any better. I feel ok when I am in from of people but since it's for a grade I feel this crazy wave in my stomach and I'm not really liking it. I felt this when I sang in New York at Carnegie Hall but not to this degree.

Truly Amazing

This week’s True Blood episode was great! I felt that this week the story actually went somewhere and didn’t seem like a soap opera. I just hope they can keep this up.

Now the one thing that I’m not really liking about the show is, and I don’t know about anyone else but I’m just getting sick and tired of Bill. He’s just getting to desperate for my taste. I think he should just get out of Sookie’s ass and move on. That’s only my opinion on that matter. Also Maryann wow I can’t stand that woman, she doesn’t play this big of a role in the books and I think it should stay that way!

Feeling Better!

I will tell you that the water has been working. I've been walking around with a Thermos in my bag filled with the amazing life giving liquid. I have had more energy, I'm sleeping better, and my skin is softer. I'm loving it! I'm continuing to change things in my life such as; associating my-self with better people and not allowing drama to follow me. I just have decided to step back, take a deep breath and say to my-self, "You've been doing great so far, you can do this." things will continue to change like they always do and I will be ready for them.

Water

Something everyone need but doesn't get enough of. I drank the stuff like it was the only thing in existence when I was younger and more active. The past few years have not been the best when it comes to drinking it, I would drink more soda. I am now trying to drink a LOVELY LITER of water before 12:00pm and even more after that. So far so go! I am in the market for a great reusable water canister at least a liter large that is me. Not found one yet but getting closer.

Love water because it does nothing but love you!

Flight Deserted

For years I have traveled around the world. Places have inspired and thrilled me with their sights, smells, sounds, and tastes. If it’s sitting in a church pew watching people kneel and then sit to worship, lying on the warm sandy beaches listening to waves grace the dry sand with its presence, or walking down a street your feet have not before touched, even people laughing as they pass others along the boulevard. A bench that has just been warmed by the summer sun, calling for you to take the weight off your feet, passing a cigar shop with the sent wafting through the windows and around your body, sitting at a café listening to the sounds of people passing by, the turning of news papers and book pages with aromas of moist air and coffee freshly brewing, the heat as coffee glides down your trembling throught begging to be warmed. This is what I see, smell, hear, and taste while away from the world I grew up in. So for the remaining time I have till I am entwined in the pleasures of these experiences once more I shall close my eyes and imagine all of you there with me. I will brace my eyes shut for as long as it takes, till we are at peace with all that is around us. If my flight does not come I shall not be sad but happy that I can share with you the images of this destination postponed.

Forever

It has been for ever since my last posting. I think like two months but I had so many things to do like my finals. I just finished my first year of college and I just turned 17. YAY! I only had a week off and went to see family, but now I just started summer classes. So there will be no real summer for me like all you guys. There is no need to worry though because I will get a four week break at the end of my ten weeks of summer classes.

This radio show I just can not get enough of. It seems like it was made for me.

This station has not changed in my Mini for the past week.

I'm waiting for it to end, but hope it never will!

German

I need to get back in to the habit of learning German on my off time, but hell what off time am I talking about because that doesn't even exist in my world. But nonetheless I have been in the mood lately and now that it is my spring break i might be able to.

Obama Adress to Congress

The man just keeps getting better and better every day in that oval office. He spoke of a little girl writing Congress about her school and wanted it to be fixed because like the people in Congress the children in her school want to become Lawyers, Doctors, Congress members, and President, but they can't get that done without the right means. I watched every second of it and was never bored.

Chris

Finally I was reunited with Chris today. I hadn't seen him in about three weeks.

His hair has exploded and grown four feet. I braided it for him. Yay!!!

'common sense'

"For in relation to reason on sense, in so far as it is the only thing that makes us human and distinguishes us from brute animals, I believe that it is present in each of us in its entirety, and thus I follow the view generally held by philosophers, who say that there are differences of degree only between 'accidents', but not between the 'forms' or natures of individuals in the same species" (Rene Descartes - Discourse on Method, Part One).

For me this means that common sense is a higher degree of an animals instinct, we all have animal instincts but we have learned to control them. Say that a deer hears a loud noise they react with immediate fear and will most likely run away to find cover. Now when we hear a loud noise, yes, we are startled but we don't run for cover, we think reasonable and think of what could have made that noise, our 'common sense' is telling us that it's not a threat.

The New Doctor!

Since the BBC said they would be releasing the name of who's going to take the place of David Tennant as The Doctor in the BBC hit show Doctor Who I've been very nervous.

I was surprised by their choice when i saw his picture because I was hoping that we was a good looking man as David was.

Yet I also thought that because he had such an interesting look he could bring almost a darker side to the character.

I'm looking forward to seeing the first episode in the new season of Doctor Who.

I hope I am and the world is pleasantly surprised with the season's out come.
